Welcome to BrainBank. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BrainBank. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are legally permitted to participate in skill-based competitions for prizes in your jurisdiction.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each person may only create one account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. How BrainBank Works

BrainBank is a skill-based trivia quiz game. Players join quiz rooms by paying an entry fee. Entry fees form a prize pool, which is distributed to top-performing players after deducting a 10% platform fee. Game outcomes are determined entirely by players' knowledge and speed in answering quiz questions.

4. Deposits and Withdrawals

• Deposits are processed securely via Stripe
• Minimum deposit and entry fee amounts may apply
• Withdrawals are processed to your linked bank account or original payment method
• We may require identity verification before processing withdrawals
• Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider

5. Fair Play

You agree to play fairly and honestly. The following are prohibited:

• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to answer questions
• Colluding with other players to manipulate game outcomes
• Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage
• Exploiting bugs or glitches instead of reporting them
• Any form of cheating or manipulation

Violation of fair play rules may result in account suspension, forfeiture of balance, and permanent ban.

6. Simulated Participants

To ensure a smooth gameplay experience, quiz rooms may include simulated participants. Simulated participants are not eligible to win prizes. All prize money is distributed exclusively among real players. The prize pool is calculated based on real player entry fees only.

7. Platform Fee

BrainBank charges a 10% platform fee on each game's prize pool. This fee is deducted before prizes are distributed to winners.

8. Prizes and Payouts

Prize distribution depends on the number of real players and game mode. Standard rooms distribute prizes to the top 1-5 players based on room size. Rankings are determined by the number of correct answers and response speed.

9. Refunds

Entry fees for completed games are non-refundable. If a game is cancelled before completion (e.g. due to technical issues), entry fees will be refunded to participants' BrainBank balance.

10. Intellectual Property

All content in BrainBank, including questions, design, and branding, is owned by BrainBank or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

BrainBank is provided "as is". We do our best to ensure a fair and reliable experience, but we are not liable for losses arising from technical issues, network problems, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BrainBank after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
